Relax. My forecast says 30% and its still a long ways away.
You're right it is a long ways away. The one I saw earlier said 68 degrees and 60% chance.

Hampton Inn Near Stadium:
Holiday Inn (Airport):
Staying with friends/family/couchsurfing:
Houston forecast for Friday is 72 with 20% of rain. That sounds like a lot of BS. We should by Wednesday though.
Ok, so now panic. WeatherUnderground this morning is saying 50% chance of rain, hi 57 for Saturday. Also 50% Friday and 40 on Sunday. Yesterday the forecast was much, much better. But no forecast could be worse than the actual conditions last year, pouring rain and temps in the low 40s. It didn't stop anybody last year, a little rain won't stop us this year either.
So cougarclaws has us set up for Friday night. Now we need something for postgame.
Is there something close to this Hampton Inn so many are staying at?
What about just gathering at the Torrance Marriott?
Right across the street from the Marriot-Torrance at the mall is a BW3 and a BJ Brewery
Anyone who went to the playoff game at Chivas in 2006 remember the name of the sports bar where we gathered after the game? It was pretty big and had plenty of parking. I think it may have been in Torrance, but I just don't remember. nobius has a good pic he could post.
EDIT: Nevermind. I just ran a search for the pic by nobius and found it. Unfortunately, the bar appears to be closed now. Oh well. Here's the pic anyway:
There's also a Stacked Restaurant where you can conveniently order from an ipad and it only takes 5 or 6 wait persons to explain the process, take the orders, and help with the bill.
Just got my air tickets. Land at LAX at 1:30pm Friday. Out on Sunday at 9:15am. Camping at the Hampton Inn.
Forecast: Dynamo goals rain down on the Galaxy and washes out Beckham's goodbye.
Jaja. So now the rain chance for Saturday is up to 80% with amounts of 1.3" possible. At least the temps are around 70. And like I said, it's still a long way off....
as long it stays 60+ it will be ok
I'm bringing my dynamo rain jacket, two dynamo sweaters, my regular jersey, 2 old amigo energy jerseys, orange socks, and 1 or 2 different orange shoes just in case, and my orange accented fossil watch.
Should I go in shorts or jeans? I'll figure out by Thursday.
And then my technology, dslr and a point and shoot and possibly laptop. Hopefully it all fits on my carry on.
I wore shorts last week in DC in the 40s, but I had new Dynamo orange socks (the ones with "Dynamo" on them) so I had to show them off.
I regret not picky any more up during the fire sale. We actually bought two pairs and had the players sign them but I gave those away to family
I'm too excited for this trip. Had a dream last night I was at IAH partying it up before our flight to LA with all you guys.
Do not party too hard, or they will not let you on the flight!
No conspiracy man. It's the normal rainy season here - roughly Dec to Feb ("officially The City of Los Angeles recognizes the time period between October 1 until April 15 as the official rainy season").
I'm so ready to go. Fired up, one could even say. Yesterday at work was all about to struggle to focus. Just three more days before getting on the plane...three more days...three more days...
does anyone know of any shuttle buses going to LA for the cup
Have 4 seats available in my car if anybody is interested - just share gas expenses - leaving Thursday morning returning Sunday morning. email email@example.com or call 281 812 4805.
