Well, let me tell you about the streamers....I knew we couldn't throw the real ones 'cause the ceiling is too low and the place was jammed packed by game time. So I bought these really cheesy popper streamer thingys that didn't work for squat. So, long story short, no streamers that you can see in the pictures.:(

But TA/EB did have smokebombs - how cool was that?

Well, an MLS team hasn't won the CCC since it went to the home and away format. DCU won it when everything from the quarters onward took place in DC; and LAG won it when everything from the quarters onward took place in LA and Fullerton. I don't mean to take anything away from DCU and LAG - no matter what the format, winning the tournament is still a significant achievement. But the Dynamo and DCU will still have the opportunity next year to make some history by being the first MLS team to win the tourney in the home and away format.

    Thanks

I was cheering for that matchup this year (admittedly mostly due to my hate of Swellman), maybe next time.

Is this a second-half team or what?? Whatever was said or done at halftime sure paid off. It was truly amazing to see the momentum swing totally around, especially after Ngwenya's goal. It totally frustrated the Revs, and DeRo's goal totally killed the team that was already on life support. And how about Pat's save late in the second half? Dayum!!

I definitely agree with everyone else about the ABC sports jabberers. I think every one of them wanted to have Twellman's children. What the hell does it take to get a little respect for the defending champs? All they could do is stroke off about the Red Sox and the Patriots and how the Revs were probably just in line to claim a championship. ABC, thanks a bunch for carrying the Cup, but could you please find someone besides these blithering ********tards to talk about it?

Anyway, two years, two titles ... have we a dynasty in the making?

This team has unbelievable heart and determination. The guys who needed to step up today did so (DeRo especially - good job) and we capitalized on our best chances.

Can't say much more, we have the best team, coaches, organization and fans.

If ESPN was smart, the commentators would be Glenn Davis and Eric Wynalda....say what you will about Eric, but he is the best color commentator in the US. Period. And when he has been paired with Glenn, he hasn't been all that bad.

Of course, that would require ESPN to be smart

Does anyone know where I can find highlights from the Telefutura feed?

I watched the ABC feed because it's in HD and we don't have Telefutura here in Austin. I'll be back in Houston, soon enough!
