I know it's pretty much been known for a while, but the MetroStars TV announcers just said it will be announced officially tomorrow.
LOL you are a damn fool! LOL Anyway, I'm thinking that this is a good excuse for me to visit some old classmates who live in LA and get a little warmer weather at that time of the year.
Now I understand those "Daisy Fuentes isn't pregnant" ads in the airport. It's impossible to get pregnant in that position.
Is Giants Stadium going to get an MLS Cup or All-Star Game sometime before the next millenium. Or does almost everything have to go to that little dump.
You had the first two MLS All-Star Games. You're not getting an MLS Cup. You had a US Open Cup final and didn't do too well with it. In other words, STFU.
Re: Galaxy's stadium gets MLS Cup Um, that Track and Field Stadium IS part of the Home Depot Center. The Home Depot Center refers to the entire complex, which includes the tennis stadium, the soccer stadium, the track and field stadium and all the surrounding practice fields. No, Giants Stadium will NOT get an MLS Cup or All-Star Game before the millenium is up. The new Harrison Stadium will probably get one or both events within the first couple years of operation.
Re: Galaxy's stadium gets MLS Cup Didn't they play Fresno at the HDC proper in last year's Open Cup? Will they use that again, or play at Fullerton, or what?
Re: Galaxy's stadium gets MLS Cup I was making a joke, though it wasn't very funny. Actually they're playing at UC Santa Barbara unless Minnesota wins, then they will play at the Hump in Minneapolis.
Re: Galaxy's stadium gets MLS Cup Evidently, the attendance guru doesn't read his own website. No LA Galaxy attendance smack allowed AT ALL!
Re: Galaxy's stadium gets MLS Cup Evidently you, like so many other Angelenos, weren't actually at the June 12 game. I was. Carry on.
Last year's MLS Cup at the HDC was a glorious day in every aspect (unless you're a Fire fan, I suppose, but even they looked like they were having a great time, despite the outcome). While I hope one day it can be rotated around to various venues of equal beauty, atmosphere and fine weather, it'll be great to have it back at the HDC once again, a place the MLS finals truly can shine.
Worst day ever. well, after the 60th minute or so. And actually, the MLS Cup final in 2000 was worse. That took a long while to recover from.
I wasn't ripping the Galaxy's attendance. Just saying that on that one day, you didn't need half the seats at the HDC. LA does great. The HDC is great. I've been there three times now.
