Not confirmed, but here's a report about Bob Bradley returning to MLS with San Diego...

Has Luchi Gonzales been fired yet? No? Why?

I’d like to see MLS start cannibalizing coaches like they do in England. Like fire Luichi but go after Troy Lesesne (please) or something like that. It would make the death watches more interesting than: “Interim, appointed full coach at end of season.”

    Thx,

    Jay!

    Big news from Kansas City!

But not the big news some people expected or hoped for.

That should fix the problems. Very Soviet-esque move.

Especially if they replace him with Peter Vermes' niece.

I missed the time to edit....

But every coach has a skill set, and then the team has tools which may or may not align. I'm not certain if Almeyda would ever be successful in MLS, but it sure the f******** wasn't going to happen in San Jose. Luchi took over a very difficult situation. He is absolutely not experienced enough to make it work. I think he could have done OK elsewhere. He's an alright coach who might be pretty good with a good assistant staff in a well-run FO.

I think Pat Noonan would have been laughed out of the league if he started at San Jose as opposed to a newly invigorated Cincinnati. San Jose isn't going to get a great coach unless they totally luck into it with an untested newbie or the overhaul the FO.

If not Anthony Hudson is (unless he's been signed by the Irish FA when I wasn't looking)

Robin Fraser has never really had a fair shake. If I were him, I wouldn't even put my hat into the ring for SJE. He's got Chivas and Rapids on his resume, two of the very worst-run orgs during his time at the helm.

Jeff Cassar is also available. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
    Mike Petke?
Maybe Freddy Juarez is ready for another HC stint?

Isn't Chris Wondolowski on the San Jose coaching staff? Or is that the reserve team?

A team should hire Rabin Fraser, but for Robin's sake that team shouldn't be San Jose.

Yeah, I'm assuming that's a job he's happy to do but one he would be willing to leave to become a MLS head coach again

I assume Ian Russell will get the opportunity to prove himself before they look externally. After his successful run coaching the USL affiliate in Reno, a lot of people have wanted him to get this chance for a while.

it’s a start. Vermes needs to go, but a lot of SKCs problems started when Bliss was hired. Given that the ownership has already said they aren’t firing him and are giving Vermes a chance to rebuild, this is the best we could hope for.

That's conveniently close to San Jose.
