I have no confidence in him or NRod for that matter. We currently only have 18 players, that just enough to fill a game day roster. #WoodenSpoon
As @DispatchAlerts has been reporting, there will be some substantial news on the #crew96 front today. New coach, Caleb Porter, and new pres./GM, Tim Bezbatchenko, likely to become official. Is that like Bora Milutinovic, who, it was said, could speak 9 different languages, but none of them coherently? I spoke with him after a Revs-MetroStars game when he was coaching them. I remarked that he looked different (in a trench coat) than he did the last time we saw him (when he wore a dashiki on the bench for Nigeria at the WC). "Yis, yis, my friend, suit and tie, you see?" and he opened his coat like a flasher. Then he laughed and shook my hand before some Spanish language reporter cornered him. Judging by the confused look on the journo's face, I don't know how much sense he was making either, although I was able to pick out "mediocampista."
I wouldn't want Lavolpe around MLS unless it was for a team that I despised (which is most of them). Vucetich would be an inspired hire.
