That is what I found in an article by UPI.
Is it then when we laugh or we cry?

"HOUSTON, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Dane Richards gave Chicago the lead with a goal in the 25th minute and the Red Bulls went on to upset Houston 3-0 Sunday in the Major League Soccer playoffs.
Richards also had an assist, helping Chicago win its Western Conference semifinal series against the Dynamo. The Bulls had a 4-1 total goals advantage in the home-on-home engagement. The teams had tied 1-1 in the other contest.

Juan Pablo Angel and Brian Ching scored the other goals in Chicago's series-clinching win.

The Red Bulls will next go against Real Salt Lake in the conference final."

    Depressing, eh?

Which is worse, that or when I recently read that the Hexagonal is the final round of Olympic qualifying?

I guess you could use that as an excuse for losing - you had a traitor in your midst. ;)

It's pathetic, what passes for journalism these days. The glaring errors in this report could have been fixed with a 5 second glance at the box score.

The part that strikes me is under the UPI.com logo is says "100 Years of Journalistic Excellence."

I was about to report this post for disclosing a recent score!!

But then, I realized they hadn't played each other for weeks!

    Amazing reporting!

Maybe they were confused by the New York Red Bulls of Chicago, New Jersey!

I went to the article so I could wreite a "letter to the editor" about it but they've come to their senses and now have the facts correct.

Better late than never I suppose.
