Don't you love it when people know these numbers even though there weren't there, don't live there and may not have ever been to a MLS game in that city.
This is a stretch of a statement, but there's a possibility that every week for the rest of the MLS regular season could have at least 3 games of over 20K...
I wish we could put in some sort of immediate yellow card for anyone who tries to predict announced attendance by judging from TV. I mean after all these years aren't people embarrassed to post this stuff? Do they really think they are breaking new ground or opening anyones eyes?
As long as we're backseat moderating perhaps it should be a yellow card for completely discounting it simply because "I wasn't there." I mean, what makes sitting in a mostly empty stadium more accurate than seeing an HD panning shot of every empty seat in the place? All I'm saying is that I have BEEN to games at Invesco that had MORE people than I could see (and I saw every damn seat) and announced at 6000.
