Would be nice to DF get into this game, Pearce should have serious consideration as well, lets go folks.

I should think Hartman too, the way he's been playing in the last 3 games.

Our poor finishing has made candidates out of the keepers for NYRB and NE as well.

Actually, small problem, Hartman's not on the keeper list.

Why is it poor finishing on our part for the NYRB and NE games, but when Hartman makes those same saves, he is considered to be standing on his head?

Some of those saves in the NYRB and NE games were pretty damn good saves, on well taken shots.

Maybe I'm seeing nuance where there's really only homerism, but I think bad finishing means there were a few sitters sent off target, and the woodwork was hit. If we had finished better, then the scorelines would not have been flattering to those other keepers, despite their having made some excellent saves.

And this is why starting nominations/voting when each team has only played a handful of games is ridiculous.

I can't actually see the list because mlssoccer.com is blocked from work. Plano ISD hates soccer.

I love that the squeaky clean corporate site is blocked, but this wretched hive is A-Okay. :D

I think that's right and basically distinguish as follows:

If an attacker's attempt at goal is not placed where it should be to score...either off-frame or too close to the keeper - that's bad finishing.

If an attacker's attempt at goal is placed where it should be...on-frame and away from the keeper AND the keeper still makes the save - that's good goalkeeping.

I would say most of our missed attempts fall in the former category.

Exactly. Shea has started one more game than Hartman (IIRC), has played every one of those at LM, is listed on the roster as M and is on the ballot of........Forward.

MLS - We have our s together!

I'm glad I've only watched FCD games. Now I can vote straight FCD ticket and not feel guilty.

Noticed this over at the FO news pipeline... Seattle gets wind of this and the game may turn out to be Sounders vs. ManU (edit, too late).

    Agreed.

It does nothing for me, but it gives the MLS players a chance to showcase their skills for a European transfer.

They should rename it "MLS All-Star Combine".
