It was nice -- a couple of the Borough Boys were invited to Gracie Mansion for the MLS All star event with a few Man U greats and the MLS all star team (and the Mayor of course). It was nice too that commissioner Garber made himself so available to us.
The City is really behind the events taking place. The Mayor was there, Some of the All Star team, Backe, Henry, Beckerman all very open and out there. Untied had Sir Bobby Charlton there, Giggsy, Vidic. Fantastic event to show that the city does get behind soccer. PS - When talking to Garber, we asked him to get that NYC deal done. he thanked us for the support and hard work.
Yea - ill flat out say it, there was a representative of the Cosmos front office at this event. Just like at Cosmos events, there are reps from the league there.
