At LB I would put Franchino. Huge hustler, always puts in that cheesey extra effort. If only the talent was there... At RB it would have to be Heaps, with a mention of Mario Gori. Heaps though is the epitomy of hustle. Works hard, team player, but if a talented player is running at him falls over his head. Up top, one player would have to be Carrieri. Huge hustle there, hasn't necessarily gotten the results except for one season where he was superb. His partner would have to be John Wolyniec. Hustles all day, but has finally gotten results. The early Ben Olsen, before his ankle injuries. I hated his style of play then. All body, no mind. His game has changed dramatically since then. On the left I'd put Garcia who used to play with Columbus. Why so many people were enamored with him I don't know. I never saw a cross of his connect. At centerback? Dayak for sure. Who else? I dont' know. I don't remember Stewart that well. In the center Richie Williams for sure. His partner in crime? Probably Jim Rooney.
