    I'm drawing a blank folks.
I see a bunch of mediocre teams, with no discernable trends.

Draw still looks like a good bet.

Sounds like MLS gambling in a nutshell.

I'm thinking small stakes on each road team might not be bad. Might not be that good either, but...

Slightly different prices from canbet and only 3 game offered:

    Colorado Rapids Draw NY/NJ Metrostars
    2.80 3.30 2.38

New England Revolution Draw Chicago Fire
    2.02 3.40 3.43

Washington DC Draw Kansas City Wizards
    2.48 3.37 2.63

I think the overwhelming number of ties will diminish. In that spirit I'm picking winners...

KC @ dc - Points have come sparingly in RFK for KC, but dc is scoreless at home through 200 minutes. KC ripped them for 3 last time they met
    KC @ 2.63

LA @ DAL - This is usually a draw, and was earlier this year. LA is due a win and Dallas has been playing poorly.
LA @ 2.70 seems a good value for a defending champ.

MET @ COL - Colorado has no setup with which to put together an offense. MET has won 3 straight.
    MET @ 2.14

CHI @ NE - This one smells a bit like a draw, but NE was great at home last time out trashing LA.
    NE @ 2.02

CLB @ SJ - CLB has pretty much owned SJ of late. I'm going with the hot GK in honor of JS Jegere and the Mighty Ducks. Onstad with another good performance and SJ to win late.
    SJ @ 1.97

My "Prime 3" will be NE, LA, and MET

    Overall I'm 7-14, down $31.80 and down $36.10 on the "Prime 3".

Colorado Rapids 2.50 Draw 3.25 Metro Stars 2.40

New England 1.91 Draw 3.30 Chicago Fire 3.30

San Jose 2.00 Draw 3.30 Columbus Crew 3.10

I have to agree with laying the Draw. It's the most likely outcome in MLS right now, and it has the highest payout.

$10 on each game would have netted you $10-11. Two ties out of 5. Now all of us should have seen the LA/DAL draw coming - Saturday's result is something like 6 in a row. Oops.

As for me, I went 3-3 on the week, missing all 3 ties, including 2 on KC games. Say it with me now everyone: DON"T TRUST MY KC PICKS...thank you. KC is the only team I consistently lose on picking.

MOre importantly I made $1.30 betting $10 each game. It doesn't sound like much, but consider. $60 invested returns $61.30, in 1 week. Uncompounded thats $67.60 for the year, or 102.7%.

Back to reality, I'm improving at 10-16 and down $32.20 for the year. Flipping ties.
