Announced attendance for Orlando was 22341. This means the stadium was supposedly 88% full. That means just over 1 out of every 10 seats was empty. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The shade side was pretty full, the rest of the stadium was at most 10% full and that is being generous.
The announced attendance for this game was at least double what was there.

Dude, don't even. There is no way there was even close to 22k there.
I would be very surprised if their concourse is big enough to hold 12,000.
    90% full?
The side of the stadium the camera was looking at had maybe 1000 people in seats.

I think it's been mentioned before that that side is in direct sunlight and people tend to hide under the stand. I'm not claiming anything, it was a simple question.

18,495 in NJ:confused::eek:o_O With a downsized stadium this would be around 92% of capacity. I don't think so, 50% of capacity max.

It's a simple answer. I don't think the concourse are big enough to hold the 10-15k that weren't in the seats. And if they were there they were hiding the entire game and the concourses would be so full you wouldn't be able to move. Also it seems they are missing from the seats every single game. That really isn't a logical explanation.

Orlando City stadium has around 9k seats on each side and 3-4k on each end. Even if the side not shown was 100% and there were 3-4k in rest of the stadium (being generous) that is 12-13k of the over 22k announced. If there were 9-10k more people in this stadium that is really remarkable and someone would post photos/videos of that.

I thought it would be fun to add a capacity percentage for each week. I think this gives us the best league wide look at how attendance is doing.

I simply used 100% for the sellouts. It could be argued that a few of those should be slightly over 100% as the attendance are a little over the stated capacities.

    Week 12 total attendance 309,672
Week 12 total capacity availability 369,726
    Week 12 capacity percentage 84%

There's a joke here about measuring absolute size versus capacity percentage but it's not appropriate for this thread and probably not as funny as I think it would be anyway....

24,712 (97%) in Orlando Crowd looked pretty good, I'm sure fans that bought tickets to see Zlatan may have not attended. From TV it looked like 22-23k (86%-90%).

Wikipedia has it at 20,000, so it was 100.655% of capacity.

What capacity number are you using for Cincinnati? I believe capacity is 32,250, which would make the % capacity for Saturday's game at 88%.

FYI the Wikipedia entry for DSG Park's soccer capacity is wrong. It doesn't take into account the changes made a few years ago. The new capacity for Rapids games is 17,424, as sent to me by the Rapids Media Head in an email (unfortunately that's not a sufficient source for Wikipedia to change its listing).

FYI, Rapids own official website says 18k.

"DICK'S Sporting Goods Park is comprised of the 18,000-seat home stadium of the Colorado Rapids"
