It's good to see someone who understands the basics of the game. I was waiting for someone to blame the guys on the Red Bulls who were actually in the picture defending, while ignoring the fact that it was the guys who didn't run enough to BE in the picture that were actually at fault. I will also say that the right side of RBs line was split FAR too easy by that single pass. Damn, they were stagnant.
Yeah, Lade was left in no man's land on that one. He had to step to the middle and off of Johnson since no one came back to help mark the center. He steps to cover the center forward and that leaves his man (Johnson) open for the tap in. He doesn't step then the guy in the middle has a tap in. He needs either a d-mid there to cover the center or the left mid there to pick up his man.
