The timing on that attempted McCarty to Nikolic pass was impressive. McCarty knew to play the pass as soon as Nikolic started running.

Nikolic lives on that offsides line.

Schweini's trapping and shielding just so solid compared to what we're used to seeing.

A ball can come steaming into him and he just gets instant control.

Harrington drives the ball forward to relieve the pressure in Chicago's end and then delivers another nice cross which almost turned into another opportunity except Nikolic was offside again. Juninho and McCarty are playing well also.

Don't know about a yellow for that. Looked like a plain old foul to me.

No goals yet but this game is anything but boring. Lots of wide open play and both teams have had chances and shots.

Now Chicago's keeper is down holding his knee.

Bava hurt himself on the most routine catch. I can relate since I'm about the same age ...

He can whip such a hard, fast shot out of almost nowhere. Amazing strength in such a small frame.

Chicago had a few good chances early on but couldn't score. They are regretting that now, Toronto is in the groove.

I don't want to blame Bava for both goals, the defending was poor as well, but to say he was slow getting down to those shots is an understatement.

I would say today was the first truly nice day of the year in Tacoma. Went to a couple parks to walk and take pictures.

I ended up taking more pictures of graffiti on a train that was next to the beech I was walking on then the awesome views of the Sound and nearby islands...

OK, Harrington making a stupid header down on the ground to no one, TFC quickly steals, counterattacks, and Giovinco very nearly scores an identical goal to his first one.

    Bono looks huge.

    Checking - yep, 6'3", 195.

Toronto fans are STILL throwing streamers at opposing players on corner kicks? The league hasn't dropped the hammer on that yet after all these years? @Bill Archer

You can't really compare the two because Hope would've definitely ********ed that guy's mom first.

That was a quick first half. Exciting 45 for a neutral.

Chicago needs to figure out who's staying home to help defend. Schweinsteiger, McCarty and Juninho all want to get on the ball and play in possession. Someone needs to stay at home and win the ball back. De Leeuw and Solignac aren't helping much either. You can get away with this at home, but on the road to a team like Toronto it's suicide.

It's even worse when your right back (Harrington) is MLS 1.0 level.

2nd half underway. Wide open and end-to-end yet again. I'll be shocked if there aren't more goals.

To be fair, he had some nice crosses in the 1st half and a good moment of driving forward up the line. But he also had some dumb giveaways and most of his passes were pedestrian.

Beitashour is a much better outside back.
