Riyad Mahrez has to be a candidate for worst follow up to a PFA Player of the Year campaign. His decision making and overall play is hot trash. And now this tie is over at 0-2 ATM
I'll say this again: Riyad Mahrez sucks. He's personally killed like 5 LCFC attacks. They could get back in this with a goal here in the next few minutes but they should probably haul him off and put Gray on.
Boy MLS is so bush league. You'd never see an obvious offside missed in the Champions League like you do in MLS. American soccer is a joke...
So the UCL has now seen dodgy officiating and undeserved penalties facilitate a 4 goal comeback to Barcelona at home and a phantom 2nd yellow and and offside/handball goal facilitate a Real Madrid win at home.
UEFA drug testing is apparently more stringent than the FA's. Even though Arsenal's season has been pretty terrible (relative to seasons past), the silver lining is that they totally botched signing both Vardy and Mahrez.

Adrian Heath threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Twins game tonight. Demidov completely misplayed the pitch and now the Twins trail 1-0.

My quick count of those games shows San Jose winning the series 20-13-7 (W-L-T) overall and even at New England 10-7-2. That is a pretty strong away showing in MLS.
I think the official tally is 20-14-6 in SJ's favor with both the Shootouts going to NE. Nevertheless, it should be a good head-to-head matchup
The Sounders and Galaxy will be wearing jerseys made from "upcycled" marine plastics for this weekend's game... Certainly a worthy cause, but I do question the choice of white with light grey trim for Galaxy and light grey and white trim for Sounders and both jersey's having the same pattern.. What could possibly go wrong with having both teams wearing the same jerseys, just with a slight color difference?
