I was actually wondering, briefly, if the reason for the check had nothing to do with Jones, but whether or not the challenge from the Atlanta player was also deserving of red. One look at the replay ruled that out pretty quickly, though.
I notice their technical director has been doing work with Fox of late. Why the hell not. Not like there's anything else to focus on.
This may be a stupid question, but is VAR being used for tonight's Open Cup Final? I would suspect not, but they could have made some special allowance for it or something...
I'd like to see TFC v ATL in the MLS Cup. I'd pay top dollar for that. But no, we'll probably get a scrub team like Seattle instead.
I'm mad at you for pointing that out. I'm also mad at the person who pointed out that the ends of the Chicago Bears' "C" logo don't align. Share in my graphic design disdain.
This game now sucks. After hearing the inane, stupid, ridiculous and idiotic debate about "running up the score" started by the inane, stupid, ridiculous and idiotic Marcotti last week after the 7-0 game, Atlanta has called off the dogs, at home. And the fans lose.
But the "C" ends don't align because they are not centered top to bottom. The top portion doesn't reach as far down as the bottom portion reaches up. You're welcome!
Sorry for the thread jack, but I thought of you when my daughter showed me this image. Turkish police create rainbow while trying to disrupt pride parade with water cannons.
So nice of the police to get into the spirit of Pride! At least when Ireland was voting on marriage, the rainbows that appeared all over Dublin and other parts of Ireland were natural (or perhaps supernatural!)
All true. I also think it would help if GD was made the first tie-breaker rather than wins. EDIT: They might go for it more if this wasn't a mid-week game.
Plus just having one of "those" nights. A couple of bad lapses that they immediately paid for. It happens to the best teams in the world occasionally, so TFC are hardly immune.
