LA trailing 3-0 and now down a man. Will the MLS 10-man advantage come into play? I'm thinking no. edit. And we have the answer. 4-0 Atlanta
All of this is really too much sensory input, and I am not even in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Keeping track of the shenanigans and goals and opportunities is a challenge.
Well, in the new era of VAR, you have to wonder if maybe a check was happening, and the ref was waiting until it was over to actually insist it was time to leave.
I don't think the 10-man advantage applies this season. It's been stunning, really. After so many years of 10-man advantage, in 2017 teams with the extra player are over +60 in goal difference.
I think LA should strive to one-up New England by going down to 8 players. Come on LA, you can do it!
Am I really supposed to witness another first half comb with this defending and not believe THE FIX IS IN?
That was pretty much exactly what was happening. Salazar was pretty sure that the kick was intentional so he pulled the red. However, he wasn't 100% so he was waiting for confirmation from the booth before he made sure Jones left. You can see him his his ear (which you would assume is confirmation coming in) and then sort of tell Jones "yeah, it is time for you to go now".
No defense apparently either. I get that the players are a miss and that effects the team down the line. Just strange that a team with 26 GA in 29 games is 3 down in less than 30.
