Guzman is a lucky duck, no matter what the PTFC broadcast team says. He had already grabbed Morales by the ankle right away, causing the fumbling for the ball that allowed the defense to get back before what was called as the foul.

    And Guzman now warned.

Jozy with a well-taken but relatively easy goal (thanks to napping Quakes defenders) for Toronto right at the beginning of the half.

Geez Pirlo. That looked like a pretty innoccuous challenge, and he quit on it. Steal, pass, goal Portland.

apparently SJ thinks not marking Jozy is a good idea. 3-0 TFC

Road San Jose is a truly abysmal team. 4-0 TFC with 25 left.

EDIT: I know TFC is good, and if this was the only recent road game where San Jose looked bad, then I would credit them more. But good grief, the Quakes have been pretty lousy on the road, pretty consistently.

Ceren now given a red card for that late challenge on Delgado after VAR review

That was almost a troll job from referee Rivero after the VAR in Toronto. He came back to the center of the field, called Darwin Ceren over, and then went to the front pocket where his yellow card was/is. Ceren must have thought he was okay, but Rivero realized his mistake and went to his back pocket.

    Deserved red.

Great save by Attinella on Brillant following a header off of a free kick. Still 1-0, just after halftime.

Seems the nice weather has drawn the p*to chant crowd to Yankee Stadium. What a pleasure.

There's another beautiful save, this time Sean Johnson on Valeri.

I guess the sample size hasn't been great, but I thought Sean Okoli'd be a little more impressive than he has been this season. Overall hold up play hasn't been great, one goal, and just there made the wrong decision with Lewis in acreeeeees of space.

    Woof, Khiry.

This is where I'm obliged to say "Federal Way's own" Sean Okoli. :D

Meanwhile, I notice "Federal Way's own" Kelyn Rowe is not on the field for New England. :(

And while I was in Europe "Federal Way's own" Lamar Neagle apparently got traded back to Seattle.

It's a shame "Federal Way's own" Ciaran O'Brien is no longer in the league. :ninja:

I appreciate MNU putting the game on "amateur" mode for my lowly Philadelphia Union.

Just as an aside, if Vancouver wins tonight then Cascadia will be 1-2-3 in the West

Bravo to both GK in that PORvNYC match. But Johnson easily gets the edge on the spectacular saves.

Win in NYC again. Two times there and both times a win. NYC beat the Timbers at home last season too.

I definitely did not expect Onyewu to make it (almost) through the season.

Good save from Blake to keep it 1-0 Union.
