While the Bundesliga teams might, in general have as much if not more talent than most CONCACAF MNTs, playing in the Bundesliga and playing in CONCACAF WCQ are two different things. For one, Pulisic, so far in his Bundesliga career, has just a generic (but precocious) cog in a machine. In CONCACAF games, he's quickly become "the man" which is code for "the target". In the first fifteen minutes he received several kicks and fouls that might get yellows in league play, but are generally part of the game in MNT play. Donovan went through the same transition.

If only Jozy had finished the breakaway right before the second CRC goal. Cameron's pass was awesome. But it will be forgotten in time. Cameron, justifiably, is going to get hammered in the press for this game, but he could've washed much of that away if Altidore had converted that chance and we got a draw out of this game.
Agreed. As i said before about it, he was woefully out of position on the shot. Ream, Pulisic, Howard and Cameron have been awful.
I'm sorry. I'm not buying the venue had anything to do with this. We simply played poorly and deserved this result.
