Taking a calculated risk is not the same as "lazy understimation".

Cup games are the perfect chance to throw some untested or new players to the wolves, or try out some new formations or strategies. Better a misstep in the Cup than the league.

So, I was busy with other things last night and didn't even look at the score.

Losing fans at FA Cup used to stay to applaud winners - until Liverpool played Man United. Shame it no longer happens.

Interesting the hard-sell Fox and MLS is doing for the Sounders-Timbers. No longer are we voting on the best rivalry on MLSsoccer.com, or debating the best rivalry on TV, they are declaring it unequivocally. Can't help but think this is a big ratings push.

 

It's no Trillium Cup, but it's not a bad rivalry.

Remember when Portland started the year as the best team in history? Yeah ... me neither.

 

Do these bright daytime PNW games feel harder to watch on the TV. It's the same with LAG as well.

 

Once again, Roldan destroys Tokyo...I mean, Portland....what a disastrous start for the Timbers.

 

Given the Winter and Spring we've had, we here in Cascadia cannot complain about the Great Fireball in the Sky making an extremely rare appearance. All praise to the Great Fireball in the Sky!
