Alright, now that I've located the broadcast list, let's give this another try. CONCACAF Champions League Final, 1st Leg Club America v. Comments here should remain neutral. Good luck to everyone.
Seattle Sounders FC v. Portland Timbers — April 26, 9:30pm — Fox Sports 1*, Fox Deportes, TSN1 Rivalry game... on the road... two best players unavailable.... having played flat for the last two weeks.... If the MLS Unpredictability Gods could spin their magic on this one, I'd be most grateful.
Chicago Fire v. New York City FC — April 24, 8:00pm — Univision Deportes† In a somewhat shocking development, this match is looking to be sold out with standing room only tickets available so the atmosphere should be good. The FO has done a lot of marketing this year, especially to former season ticket holders and others who have bought tickets in the past, but this match is the one that people are responding to. Well, they've had a month to market this game with previous home match being rescheduled. I wonder how many folks are there to see Villa and Lampard, oops, I mean Mix, than the Fire.
I'll be impressed if any of you neutrals make it all the way through a Fire/NYCFC - Rapids/Dallas doubleheader. I'm guessing the quality Friday night is not going to win over many undecided fans.
Vancouver will remain at the top of the West and Overall for the 4th straight week (since Week #5), if they do not lose to DC this week. Should they lose, top spot will still remain theirs as long as FCD do not beat Colorado this week. http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/top-of-the-west-and-ss-standings.2018711/
For all you complaining about a lackluster Friday lineup ... well, you're overlooking the main event! Friday - 10:30 PM Eastern :: Sacramento Republic FC vs Orange County Blues It'll be on YouTube. All the SRFC home games this year have been really good, fun games.
Actually Dallas is the 4th best offense and 4th worst defense in the league … Dallas games are some of the wildest and most unpredictable so far this season.
TFC is 2nd in GF avg if my calculation is correct. But most definitely predictable so far this season, that TFC sucks
