Burgerfi is now open in Leawood. That seems pretty interesting.

charlie brown, and the life aquatic with Sal Zizzo. Maybe I can find some more interesting tangents.

Ooo, and the narrative of Brazilian on Brazilian violence leading up to the world cup....

His arm was straight out from his body. How was that not a penalty?

    Sigh.

    Toledo stinks.

This is the sort of game where no goals looks likely but if one goes in it is suddenly an end to end game.
Well that's my hope for the 2nd half anyway

Vermes appears to have switched to a 3 back. With Benny Feilhaber (!) flanked by Ellis and Sinovic.

    Phew.

Leawood has got to be at least 20 times the land area it was when I lived there. It used to end at 106th Street. Now it goes down to at least 199th, and after College Blvd (111th) it's many multiples wider than the older part of town.

Toronto FC struggling this much is a surprise. Not even a real chance against that backline.

Can the announcers please just talk about Jurgen, his dopey son and Landon so I don't have to try and feign interest in this borefest.

If they scrolled BS posts on the bottom of the screen it would be infinitely more interesting.

I'm struggling to remember them getting into the box on more than a few occasions.

TFC should probably know that backline will make mistakes but they aren't likely to just fall down and give you the ball. I am really not impressed with how they are playing, at least pressure someone from time to time.

TFC can't handle SKC high pressure game, esp in the midfield. Hard to get service to the strikers when TFC midfield can't possess the ball for more than 2 secs. Bekker and Rey are having horrid game.

and how do you prevent pressure on your defence? keep the ball, stay compact on the counter

Everyone was shouting from the top of their lungs that Andrew Farrell was a can't miss #1. Payne didn't even have to get it right with the next pick to have a good draft!

I really like what the Whitecaps did in that draft taking Manneh and Hurtado...

I hope this is not a sign of things to come for the Friday night game next year. I am seriously thinking of checking out the Paint Drying World Cup on FS3

They're ripping this turf out after the New York game on Tuesday.
