I really enjoy rooting for a Nick Rimando-backstopped team.

Two handed shove by Alvarez on O'Dea coulda/shoulda been a pk though.

I believe the word you're looking for to describe that last sequence would be... "insane"

I feel for TFC. They had at least 3 great chances to tie it up but credit to RSL for pulling off the win. Great ending.

Brian Dunseth on the RSL broadcast angry at Chris Penso for not blowing the whistle at exactly 5:00 of added time "like he is supposed to".

How did someone who played the game for so long not know the rules?

Well. TFC failed in their game plan to lull Nick Rimando to sleep by not peppering him with shots and trying to catch him napping late on.

    Clutch GK, that Rimando guy

    Exciting finish.

The silver lining for TFC is that they are not giving up late goals anymore

Go back and watch it again. Silva hacks Beltran down which is the cause of the whole thing.

Doesn't matter, there was nobody left in the stands and it was only a goal...

MTL midweek , going to be even worse... Eff, I wish the last 4 years of this team never happened :(

What a scrum down the stretch. Morales was laying down for a full minute so the extra time was merited.

Rimando's reflexes are as good as anyone's but geez...RSL didn't really close the service down well at all down the stretch.

I did see that. The incident still wasn't caused by poor officiating. Beltran fouls Silva first, but the referee lets play continue and he turns to follow the play in case there is advantage. Silva then hacks down Beltran behind the play and out of the referee's field of view (though the AR / 4th should have caught it). The referee sees there isn't advantage, turns back and calls the original foul, then the melee happens. The only poor officiating there is that Silva didn't get punished for his role in all of it, but if the referee had called the initial foul on Beltran and the ball ended up going to a wide open TFC player, it would be poor officiating because the referee didn't allow advantage to happen. Letting play go to see if there is advantage is not poor officiating.

Yeah, he calls either hack and we're dealing with less post-foul horror.

TFC played well enough to deserve a point. RSL steals points.

They're Canada's best. They do most of TSN's soccer, be it MLS, women's, or MNT.

Well, this is about to get ugly. They are only accepting cash at the concession stands. I don't ever carry cash, so this means no beer or food for me, and that blows because it's 90 degrees here today.

SSK 36-4 EDM in the CFL (ESPN2). It was 29-1 a few minutes ago.

Thankfully Philadelphia and Dallas are easier to spell.

Slightly misleading, because they have won at home this year, but it was at the Rogers Centre in week 2. ;)

    Still crazy.
