It's probably the stud pressure. Maybe put a small piece of a blister pad underneath the insole there. I've done that before on other boots.

or you could try swapping out the insoles with another brand's insoles. Mizuno tends to use very thin and grippy insoles which might be causing the blisters too.

Got my boots last week and used them on Sunday night for indoor soccer. Very nice boots, fit is exactly what you'd expect, I'm 27.5CM in Morelia, Morelia Wave, Wave Cup, Neo and these were just as comfy. The heel has a little bit of texture which helps lock your foot in place, I really liked that small attention to detail. Also these are very light, I'm very happy so far.

Yea, I'm having similarly great experiences with the Mizuno Morelia Tf Cross stitch. Forefoot have moulded to my feet and the touch on the ball is excellet.

can't tell what the difference is, but damn does that Wave Cup colourway look absolutely gorgeous.

I posted a while back asking about Rebula and Neo sizing. I still haven’t bought the boots (my wife laid down a temporary ban...) but I hope to pull the trigger soon. With this in mind I decided to check the forum and noted that some people are saying to go half a size up in the MIJ Rebula 2 V1. Would most agree with this? Do they run a half size small? I wear a 10US in Nike Phantom Visions and Vapor 12s and this gives me about a 1/4 inch between end of toe and very end of boot. Would a 10 in Rebulas fit similarly or should I go up to the 10.5 for a similar fit? Same question for Neos? Thanks in advance for any response!

eh I wear the phantomVSN and the Neo 2's in the same size which is the US9. I have yet to properly break in a pair of Rebula 2 v1s, but i had to go up half a size just to even put my foot in it, and length wise they feel like they're half a size small. I'm also a US9 in the Superfly 6s.

I'd just get both if I could! I saw you wrote the Rebula is too padded and narrow... Many have said it's not overly padded and that the Neo is more narrow in the forefoot and toe box. Lots of contradictory info out there -- personally, I don't mind a bit of padding as long as the boot is responsive. Do you think you found the toe box too narrow because the sizing was off?

Agree, lots of contradictory info out there, which is why I just purchased all of them (as well as some tiempos) to compare first hand.

Neo is definitely not more narrow (see pics below). Not only was the rebula too padded for me, but I also didn't like how stiff the soleplate was in comparison to the neos.

I think the opposite. I find the Neos soleplate to be more stiff than the Rebulas. The leather is a bit softer IMO too

Softer in the Rebulas, that is.

Thanks for the pics. Really useful. They both look beautiful on foot but in very different ways. Which did you find to have a roomier mid foot? Also, does your Neo size match your Nike size (assuming you wear any Nike boots) and did you go up a 1/2 size in the Rebulas like the Jayc23 did? I'm probably going to order both and see which I prefer, but I want to make sure I get the right size...

They were both about the same mid foot. I did not size up on the rebulas like others have suggested. I felt like the length was Ok but the shape of the boot (narrow/pointed toe box) just didn't fit my foot. Like I've said, the rebulas felt very bulky compared to the neos. Personally, I didn't like the feel at all. I would prefer the tiempos over the rebulas. And yes, the neos matched my nike size. Good luck

less leather due to overstretching issues I guess..
lacing system straight from morelia neos
the soleplate seems the same with the 2 middle blade studs to become 1 conical and a small re-position to the rest..

    final version or prototype? :cautious:

ooh, looks like an interesting new soleplate. hopefully that works out well although I've got no complaints with the current ones

the Rebula 3 though. I'mma go out on a limb and call that a takedown model. that looks too cheap and to little leather to be the MiJ top model. Looks very Morelia Neo-esque as well considering how narrow it looks at the towards the heel area.

how do the morelia 2 and morelia wave hold up in AG surfaces?

i already have a neo 2. if you could buy one more, would you buy a different colorway of the neo 2 or buy another model (i.e. morelia 2 or morelia wave)?

i find morelia 2 studs a little biggy on AG

    morelia wave feels ok

neo 2 smallish round studs is the best on AG pitches....
