Are you suggesting he print and hand out chant booklets to everyone entering the stadium, or at least just TRE?
the hymnal wasn't a bad idea - we tried it in the old days too. the stadium was louder against Red Bull because of it. but i think that the same chants every game, at the same time, take the fun out of the songs. in my little corner of the universe, we are having fun again by not doing that, except for Barney is the 58th minute.
since moving out of 137 and into 136 it's pretty clear communication between sections is still a big issue, on multiple occasions things have started in 136 (some new, some old standbys) and 137 either doesn't hear or ignores and bangs the drum to drowns out anything that started and goes into something else. but to your point I should attempt something, because the "Awkward Silence" chant is so lame it's cringe-worthy. I just wish we could get some organized heckling of the oppositions players again... at the very least we really need to rail on the other teams goalies again. (counting on every goal kick doesn't cut it) We should be relentless to the other team's players whenever they are in front of us.
"Livin on a prayer" sounds great There used to be a group of capos that ran thru the sections relaying songs from the ladders. But apparently that job was eliminated when new management took over
You mean like the public flogging of Colombus' Steve Clark that was started in 138????? That was a fun night. Sadly, some of the best, and most original material happens during the USOC home games.
Of course it's conjecture, but without publication of financials it's all we have. And if SoB isn't making more than my membership fee on M&N merch then it's even a worse deal than I thought.
