    I was there in the Bolton end and it was a complete disgrace. Sunderland have hit rock bottom there could of only been about 15,000 or so there.

    Official attendance: 14,550.

    It is an absolute joke.

    However, on their own message board the Mackems have dredged up the fact that Newcastle had a lower FA Cup attendance, against Bradford City when just under 12,000 attended.

    The game was played in 1913 during a blizzard but they think it somehow makes last Tuesday all right.
