    Last Seen: Not sure when.

The First Touch of US players seems to be holding them back from great things. So many times the ball just runs away from them or they struggle to get it under control, especially in the final third.

Feilhaber's attempt on goal today was completely undone by his first touch. This seems to happen time and time again.

    When will we see improvement?

i disagree..their first touch was ok..not perfect but good enough..the LAST TOUCH hurt them as in not finishing their chances before regulation time ended

Definitely need to improve the overall technical competence. We are always going to be a team that struggles to get past the round of 16 if that first touch doesn't become second nature. Too often, our guys are unable to play quickly and with their heads up because they're worried about that first touch getting away from them.

Who needs players with good first touch when you have great athletes and grinders?

BTW, Feilhaber's first touch is quite good. Much better than most on the squad.

in order for it to take into effect..the HOLE team needs to have a good 1st touch..look at findely..great athlete but bad technical skill..shows why its so important
