She is Black American but with her features its hard to tell. If the media had not spectulated that her being booed at the Miss Universe pagent in Mexico was due to her being Black I don't think I would have realized it all.
Um... I hate to burst everyone's bubble but I'm pretty sure she didn't know anything about the game, was part of some ceremony before the Gold Cup, met the team because of that and then said "now, I'm USA's biggest fan".
And it should be pointed out that the Miss USA pagent is not about looks but about being a well rounded young women! She's very well rounded from what I've seen..
That could all very well be true, MLS's Soccer United Marketing may be behind the whole thing. I don't care. But I'll give her credit she did look like she was actually enjoying the Gold Cup final cheering on players by name and jumping up and down when Donovan scored his PK. At least an attractive celeb is doing this and not another boring Jim Carey.

I thought she was booed in Mexico City because she was American, not because of her skin color. I wonder how she fell into soccer other than the whole "hey, we get booed down there too." thing Or maybe someone told her it's our fault she got booed.
