Your wine is made with our Grapes. I been to Ponte da Barca a couple of times, I spend most my time in Portugal either in the Vila in Arcos or in Braga. I especially like the huge praca. Braga park is where I watched all the Euro 2004 games when I wasn't actually in the stadiums.

Yeah, the praca is beautiful. Hopefully I'll go back this year.
My mom's side is closer to Braga, she's from Vila Verde.

Not sure about your wine comment, is that the truth?

Back when I was younger and I heard someone say lagartos (in a negative way of course) I thought they were talking about Porto...calling them lizards instead of dragons.

    Re: The last gasp

yup, we grow a lot of grapes in Arcos and send them all to Ponte da Barca and Ponte da Lima for their wines.

I first found out about this at a Portuguese picnic here where guys with Acordians played while 1 guy from Arcos and 1 guy from Barca would take shots at eachother and their towns in a freestyle of sorts. It was hilarious.

Then last time I was in Portugal I was told that Ponte da Braca get most their grapes from Arcos.
