Others have posted bits and bobs here before but the Wave will play in an 'league' with other indoor teams.

Chicago Storm, St. Louis Steamers, Milwaukee Wave will join the Cleveland Force and the Minnesota Thunder (I know they're not indoor) in an informal league with a couple of other games, the exhibition games thrown in.

To call it a league is ambitious but the its the foundations of a year round plan that the MISL is hoping to start.

Do you have a source for this assertion?

OK, I just saw the Chicago Sun-Times article from 11/2 about this, but they didn't mention Cleveland. Is there somewhere else that this has been reported?

I love it when guys make one post, and its a good one...but with no links.

I've heard about this as well, and I wonder if they plan on competing with USL at some point.

On the USL press release about the new Div1/Div2 structure there is a slight comment about the Wave's plans.

Panic, there are no links to this. I don't have any to post. No they're not going to go head to head with the a-league/USL 1. Its seen as a way to get fans to watch teams they've heard off and this is the big one.......... build kids soccer camps.

The kids camps makes the players some $$$$$ and the owners can guarentee people year round (ish) jobs.

There going to see if it works this year and re-evaluate it.

By the way I'm not 'new' I'm just......um...... repackaged due to my previous sign on name being ...................well lets just say I'm repackaged.

Anyone actually think the Blitz and Wave will compete in some other out door league besides the USL?
