I'm sick and tired of seeing Milton in his current bench/playing position. He is too good to be used as a sub or part time player. Milton by far is top 3 in defense in the league or maybe the best. There are several teams in MLS or abroad who would love to have a player like Milton. I was in the Metro-Colorado, Argentina-Peru game last week and I can tell you that the MetroStars are in desperate need of a player like Milton. They have 4 good forward like Gaven, Galvan Rey, Taylor, and Glen. They need a good defender and perhaps Milton Reyes is the player they should be looking at. He is not longer injured, but is a sub. This is the reason why teams dont do good.

    Play Milton or Trade him.

I am not ready to declare him as good as you have. Even if he once was that good remember he is coming off major knee surgery. He does deserve a few good looks. He was decent in the US Open Cup game and was instrumental in a goal. He was OK in KC and appears to be getting his speed back. He will be hampered by the midfield CC is using as O'Brien is the only offensive contributor at the moment and he would play right in front of Reyes. Milton shoed a good understanding with young Nunez in the Cup and would excel if they were in their together. CC is probably afraid that the defense would suffer with ramon and that is hurting Reyes's chances. Hopefully with his recent outings and the teams slump some needed changes will be made and Reyes will get his time.

Who is Chris Gbandi? Lets play Reyes over this clown.

How many Fukc ups does Salyer get before Reyes gets a shot.

The same goes for Thompson, how many forwards have to get hurt/suspended/miss sitters for him to get some MLS time?

If the Metrostars are in such a need of Milton Reyes, then why didn't they show intetest in him when he was waived by DC like the Burn did?

After seeing him in the Open Cup, I am ready to start him.

On the other side, Salyer has played on the left, time for him to start there. If the opposition starts to take advantage of him with speed, then replace him with Gbandi.

    Cheers!

I like this idea. Now just get rid of MB16 and we will be in good shape.

Burn had the same issues and was able to convince Reyes to come down in salary significantly.

This is exacly why Bob Bradley's been curretly critized in New York. He is in the "hot seat" for not getting one or two good defenders. I like Steve Jolley, but they trade him to Dallas. Bob Bradley went ahead and got some very good/talented fowards, but did not get some good defenders like Milton. I lived in New York and I can tell you that the Honduran population in New York and New Jersey is very big. He will bring a lot of fans to the gate and most important, they know he is a good player.

well, unfortunately for Metro fans, Reyes is about to start to see some quality playing time. The Burn has a heavy schedule of games coming up and CC will likely be going to his bench often.

Ok, if Bob Bradley has worn out his welcome in NY, and if you like Milton so much, then maybe we can trade you CC and Milton for Bradley.

And there's a whole lot of other players we're willing to add to the pot as well.;)
