Iniesta with a great run on goal, has his shot blocked.

I think we might lose this match 1-0 :(

Ronnie really has turned it on though.

We did lose 1-0. Nothing to cry about. Losing in San Siro is what happens to teams riddled w/ injuries.

Not at all. That was my realistic score cause I knew it was gonna be hard at the San Siro. We'll get them back.

Neo, are you sure you weren't watching the 94 final instead?? This game, by all accounts, should have been ours. We had 2 GOALS hit the crossbar, one by Larsson in the 1st half, the other by Iniesta in the closing minutes (90+)...both coming from jaw dropping build up plays... We dominated the whole game, we made San Siro our own. Milan's goal really came out of nowhere, and Valdes should have dealt with the cross much more decisevly. From that point on, Milan were on their heels all game long. Ronnie just blew up in the 2nd half and was shredding the italian defence to pieces. There was one play involving Ronnie, Deco, Eto'o, and Larsson (first half I think) in which Milan just went dizzy. One of the most beautiful passing sequences you'll see. Anyways, it's an unfair result any way you look at it. Our defence was rock solid all game long except on that one mess up (more Valdes' mistake). Xavi was masterfull. Iniesta should have scored...and Belletti...wow, he almost made me want to hit my head with sledgehammer. The guy can dribble his way through anything and anyone, he was getting in open spaces all the time, but alas, he couldn't freakin' cross if his life depended on it. One cafu cross, one goal... :( damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like us to do one thing though in 2 weeks time:

Thanks for the support breh, I'm half expecting Barca to be wearing those white shirts with "Get Well Ramy" on them against Osasuna :D

Ok, Maybe they didnt play that bad, but the game was fustrating to watch. Play kept on breaking down in mid-field and Ronnie looked pretty useless playing on the left wing. Yeah, we hit the post twice but those were chances we should of put away. Roonie was ok at the end of the match, but it looked like he was trying to win the game himself. Our finishing was horrible and we should of played alot better.

valdez' error cost barca the game. what was he thinking?

iniesta should of buried it but instead hit the post.

milan got lucky to get away with 3 pts.

anyways, barca will tear milan a new one in nou camp.

the game was a little frustrating cuz we all know barca was capable of more, but thats basically the result of all the injuries, the players looked a little tired at times that's why the finishing was so poor. apart from iniesta there were no real options on the bench. i think we especially missed giuly, his speed would have been really useful. belletti was probably the best player today, but he needs to work on his crosing, especially when he's running at speed. when he's got the ball under control his crossing can be excellent, but not so good when he hits it first time. we might have to wait until the second half of the season before we see the team playing at their best again. if they are tired already, we might havve yet another dark november, what is it about that month? but, in the end the result doesn't really mean anything, we should still get through the group (shakhtar beat celtic 3-0 by the way).
marquez looked very good in DM, he didn't look out of place at all and his distribution was excellent.

Barca played a inconsistent Milan side while being not at full strength and we only lost 1-0. I believed that we would end up with a draw, but it wasn't ment to be.

Oh yeah, how did Crespo look? Talk about fallen off the face of the Earth!

damn.... so close and yet so far.

The famous DM position was a problem for us last night.
RM looked shaky and Deco was nowhere.

We'll wait and see 2 nd November...
