if we can sell menez for 10M this summer, that leaves room for boa boa boa teng teng teng. worst thing that ever happened to that guy was giving him the 10 shirt.
16 million? More like 1.6 million Anyways I don't think Destro is that bad of a player...just needs to play under a good coach...and Menez needs to stop being a selfish bitch and pass the ball once in a while
hindsight is 20/20, but how silly do we look for not selling el sha for 40M a few years back? granted, galliani would have blown it on raises for robinho, mexes, and bonera. still...
who is this el sha you speak of? @Falc that guy spends more time fixing his hair then practicing his soccer skillz
Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani has promised a ‘big transfer campaign’ this summer, and congratulates Juventus. The Rossoneri are 11th in Serie A, closer to bottom-of-the-table Parma than to champions Juve. “There will be a big transfer campaign, absolutely,” Galliani assured, speaking to assembled media at the Football Heroes exhibition. “When you have the prestige which Milan does, it’s easy to start again. Juventus [who finished seventh twice in a row before winning the Scudetto] are the example of that. “In 1998 we finished 11th, and in 1999 we won the Scudetto. We have the desire to get back to the top. “We’re full of desire and good intentions for the next transfer campaign. We’ve suffered badly this year, so hopefully Milan can come back. “In 10 years we made three Champions League finals - two of which we won - a semi-final and a quarter-final. I hope we can return to those levels.” While the Diavolo are toiling in the lower half of the table, Juventus are in the Champions League final. The club was close to completing a deal for Carlos Tevez, while Andrea Pirlo was allowed to leave on a free transfer. Does it hurt to see those players in the final? “You can’t fix the past, we look forward, we’re looking to the future. I’m happy for the two of them, and I’m happy for Juventus. “In the European competitions, those who play and win - as we have done more times than any other - bring home important [coefficient] points for all the other Italian clubs.” G has spoken. he always says dumb shit like this.
It's sad that we don't believe anything our management says, whether good or bad, we have all become disillusioned to their rhetoric. IF, what they say is true, it's a positive sign, tho why should we believe it? Then again, why shouldn't we. If true, it sort of shows that Milan has realized the mistakes they made and will need to reevaluate the way they do business in order to succeed. Also, it comes as no surprise as the reason they are doing this is because sponsors are threatening to pull out and the value of the company is depreciating due to shitty view. That being said, Madrid is moving on from Ancelotti, so bringing him back or Klopp is my fave choices to help build Milan. My dream, bring Ancelotti back, spend on a combo of youth/veterans for next 3 yrs, then Ancelotti replaces Conte at Azzurri and we have a stable group to hand off to a new coach. However, I might just be setting myself up for a sale of our bigger names, replaced with loan w/option to buy guys and another year of Inzaghi. Who the hell knows at this point... oh, P.S. supposedly we signing youngster Jose Mauri from Parma who was coveted by numerous teams but CHOSE Milan so hooray to that...
The meeting between intermediary Bronzetti and Florentino Perez has ended. They've reached an agreement to terminate Ancelotti's contract. #MN Ancelotti would be free to join any other club, but it seems that he has some doubts about a possible return to Milan [Milannews]. Everything will depend on the project that Milan will present and that Ancelotti, by his turn, will evaluate [Sky]. @sheva_7 your old friend ancelotti??
Sky: Panathinaikos have offered Essien a 2-year contract worth €1.1m (+ bonuses) per year. His contract with Milan expires next month. I'm stunned Roma arent going for Essien. he can teach de rossi about being a champion. Milan and Torino could decide to do a 1-year loan swap deal involving Bruno Peres and El Shaarawy (no buy-out clauses), according to GdS. poor el sha, his career has gone down the toilet.
