after the nice performance versus benfica, milan will have a four-day break, and since we didn't use too much energy in the second half, and this will be at the san siro, hopefully we will have more energy and creativity (pirlo, kaka, oddo, and janks should help with that). Dropping points on the road versus bottom tier teams will come to back to haunt you, but dropping points at home versus the bottom-tier is an unpardonable sin.

    Forza Milan!!!

I hope we don't draw and furthermore I hope Gila reminds us what he used to do at Parma.

This will be an emotional match for Gila. Hope he makes his mark on the score sheet. Parma will put up a fight...won't be a walk in the park for Milan.

not that I know of. they still show up to the stadium. I think Maldini is addressing the boos for Gilardino and the sarcastic cheers when Dida catches an easy ball.

the extreme fans that sit behind the goal.

yeah usually i wouldn't think that fans would be positive about being "blasted" as c4 puts it... but its il capitano... no one messes with maldini... and i mean no one...

i heard kaka might be rested as he has a slight knock to his knee.

siena version 2.0, i hope not. at least pirlo and oddo will be playing.

we really need a good vice-Kaka. He can't play every game, as we're seeing now. In the past we had Rui Costa who usually was an excellent replacement but since he left we have no replacement for him.

yeah, it sounds like this is a fatigue issue, so now i guess he will rest some serie a matches. gourcuff, time to step up and shine. :)

isnt that supposed to be gourcuff or seedorf... in the case of a loan striker, gourcuff takes his place, alongside seedorf.. think thats a decent replacement...

It's crazy, but correct, to assume that when Kaka is missing, we might be in a little trouble, considering that we have one of the, if not the, best midfields in the world. Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrossini, Emerson, Brocchi, Gourcuff and yet when there is no Kaka we get worried.

If Kaka is rested, I don't think it's the end of the world, as long as Pirlo and Oddo are there.

Does anyone know who's starting? Is it.. Gila..? *gulp

MILANELLO - 18 players have been called up for tomorrow: GOALKEEPERS: Dida, Kalac; DEFENDERS: Bonera, Cafu, Favalli, Jankulovski, Kaladze, Nesta, Oddo; MIDFIELDERS: Ambrosini, Brocchi, Emerson, Gourcuff, Kakà, Pirlo, Seedorf; STRIKERS: Gilardino, Inzaghi.

inzaghi played 45 minutes versus siena and 83 versus benfica, plus he will probably be wanted for our tougher clash versus palermo mid-week, so his 34 year-old legs need a rest. so for better or worse, gilardino should start by process of elimination.

yup, but he cannot play until 2nd of Jan. That's my understanding of it. BTW will he qualify as a homegrown player in the UEFA rules(if he plays for us for th next 3 years)?
