Starting a new thread for another season full of hope...and probably disappointment. First match against Cremonese. Forza Milan!
Awful. The club continues its downward spiral into being shit. Sold out San Siro - how pathetic that a team can't even draw against a a newly promoted team. ******** this shit
Watching this "match" was worse than painful. It looked like, for most of the game, Milan flat forgot that defense was a part of soccer. There was virtually no good defensive pay by Milan and the only good moment for the Milan defense was a goal they scored. The offense was almost as bad with a near total inability to produce any meaningful attack. It looked for most of the match, that Milan, as a team. did not care if this was an at all important match. It should be noted that many many many times in soccer history a team looked horrible in their first match of a season and went on to win the league. But, to be honest, I do not expect that from this Milan as they show no signs of even marginal greatness but this is soccer and appearances can be greatly deceiving. I also was very disappointed by the lack of any meaningful adjustments at the half. I expected something to change after the half as Milan was outplayed in the first half but they changed very little and were also outplayed in the second half. It is like they decided that the first half was an aberration so they kept repeating the same stupid soccer they played in the first half.. Maybe the coaching staff is insane as they repeated the same thing that did not work hoping for different results. To say I am disappointed by Milan's play is an understatement.
I hope we get one more decent transfer for a forward or a stroker. Otherwise our season will be the repeat of lasts'
How crazy and unfortunate. Supposedly out 8 weeks but I always think of Andrea conti and how he was never the same.
