Think Pioli may of lost the dressing room. Not letting players go home, his highschool bullshit Yikes
Wow! . Domenico Berardi with an assist to Matheus Henrique who came off the bench to score at the top of the box. Then Milan’s Divock Origi pulls one back from the outside of the box. Milan 2-Sassuolo 5! I can't rememeber the last time Milan lost this bad at home.
maybe uncle gerry will open his wallet?? but panic buys, last minute never works. im not sure what to do?? ill just pray!!
Very difficult right now. Pioli seems to be completely out of ideas. Formation isn’t working and he is not tweaking it. You can fire him but I don’t see anyone available especially at your budgets. At the very minimum he needs to play 3 in the midfield. But even there you are light. You don’t have that Kessie workhorse to play the two ways. You can try with Adli or Pobega but it’s too late to start experimenting. Another thing is that you need to find a competent backup keeper ASAP before the window closes. Tatatiramisu is a dog shit. It’s crazy how the players who played so well last year are suffering this bad. Kalulu bad. Tomori when he was playing, bad. Calabria unwatchable etc. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this dramatic dip from one season to the next
Thanks professor for blessing us with your presence. Youre wisdom is unmatched! Congrats on the scudetto.
Listening to a podcast right now with a guy who claims to have inside news on Milan. He’s saying that there is a lot of friction between Pioli and the players. He says that last year Pioli was very close to the guys and treated them like friends. Now he barely talks to them. Theo Hernandez is the “leader” of the dissenting players. Could be all made up bullshit. But it sounds much like Napoli when we had Ancelotti
Missing out on Botman really sucks. He's the next Staam, monster Dutchman. If only Gerry gave Maldini a few more euros
From what I see, a lot of guys look hungover from the break and just aren't up to speed. Too many mistakes. As the mistakes buildup, it compounds things, players lose belief and trust with each other. Also, Milan need Maignan back even if he's not fully fit since no once can be signed. That Romanian keeper is just nowhere near the level needed. I don't know about tension b/w player and manager, but maybe Pioli is not great at giving his players shit. Maybe Zlatan's presence isn't being felt as much as before b/c of his recovery from that knee injury. Zlatan is a huge character. He can get in people's ears. Knows what to say, what will hurt, what will inspire. He knows what standards need to be so they don't drop. Pioli should rely on him more if he's not willing to tell the players things they might not like hearing. Zlatan needs to be that guy in the locker room at the very least if he can't make the difference on the pitch like before.
So no way we even draw tomorrow? From 2nd to 6th in a matter of weeks? R we going to the Liverpool of Italy and not even make it to Europe? Or we pull ourselves together and finish top 4 at least?
Maybe it's worth dropping Leao and placing guys in wide ares who can drop back and defend to shore up the wings defensively. Inter's whole approach depends on their wing-backs feeding Dzeko. Lautaro feeds off Dzeko. Take out the wings, you take out Dzeko, and you more less take out Lautaro.
I think something more respectable. Leao from the bench. Can't say I'm surprised. Had to be done to shore up the defense.
