Man, what a solid match. Donnaruma was not himself today and we got lucky a bit, but solid solid performance overall. Hope we win the rest of the matches as the last 3 were super tough.
Great, great win today and in second half we played very well. A lot of pressure on Parma, put ourselves in situations to score and just played well. P.S. Thanks Napoli. Roma, please do the same
It's been fun to watch this team since the restart. I can't believe we're going to can Pioli and restart the project again.
My understanding is he's already been told he's out. I don't know whether that's accurate or not. Rangnick wants to manage the squad and be the coach ala Sir Alex, and it sounds like Gazidis has given him that role. That's silly IMO. Team is performing well and not sure what is Pioli's incentive (perhaps some bonuses) to manage, but he's done a good job now.
It makes me think (hope) Elliott has a longer term plan at this point and isn't going to put bandaids on in an attempt for short term success. Knowing how Gazidis' tenure at Arsenal went, that doesn't give me any hope for success in the next decade though. It's much more of a capital-sensitive outlook than a throw-money-at-it style that would bring wins and trophies quickly.
Honestly, we are playing well, but still a disappointing half, given we conceded late and frankly we should have scored at least 2-3 more. Now we really need to score as one goal lead is just not enough
another crushing win by the boyz, it's really great to see Milan like this. really enjoyable to me! Pioli is great
Ibra got mad at Pioli for pulling him... 'I have to manage him' - Ibrahimovic anger at substitution ...
That was nerve racking - even with 10 men Sassuolo looked decent. We really need to score more goals and we do a really solid job creating chances. Glad to see Ibra score. Really hope we are healthy for Atalanta and stupid Theo for getting suspended.
Ya Bennacer is suspended for Atalanta as well. Hope Romagnoli will be back then. Calabria can fill in for Conti
Good win, and good news on Pioli's extension. Hopefully Ibra will stay one more year. If we can lock up an EL group stage spot, that and these performances are something to build on going into next season.
Fans and players who are accustomed to playing in the CL every year will brush it off, but to me, qualifying for the EL shows we're trending in the right direction, as sad as it is to say it.
Huge game today, perhaps the most important one for the remainder of the season. I'd like an upset (lol,I know), but this Atalanta team is tough.
Great goal by Chalhanoglu! We got a bit unlucky and great save on that PK by Donnarruma. Atalanta is tough and second half will be tight
