Galliani also announced at the meeting that ex-goalie Sebastiano Rossi will be the new goalkeeper coach next season. Maybe he can actually make Dida less mistake-prone.

this month's publication of World Soccer pointed that the deal between betandwin and Barcelona had fallen through ..even though the deal was close to 14 million pounds!
    so ?
is that the deal with ACM ?

OPEL used to be the sponsor for PSG,Bayern Munchen, and Hertha Berlin .. also, they used to organize a warm competition pre-season.

I thought Opel was okay, and their logo wasn't that bad. For some reason betandwin seems so much cheaper.

    :/

my piece of information is pointing out to 2003 season, OPEL ONLY offers around 9 million Euro a year , Not at all satisfied.
I thought at the first time, there was a "connection" between directors from OPEL to others from Milan .. Exactly the same relationship between the rich owner of Pirelli and Moratti.

The money certainly must be better, but I look at this more at a more personal level, as I tend to wear the jerseys.

i don't look at it this way .. I admit that i was hoping to see Fly Emirates (from my country) to sponsor Ac Milan ..they can have a perfect deal but .. not all dreams come true !

I see what you mean. I liked the OPEL logol, but I didn't like when they put car names on our shirt like "Meriva" and "Zafira".

    This is the betandwin logo:

I don't like it, yellow color on black and red is ugly IMO.

Seems like they're trying to go after a lot of teams. They tried to get Barcelona but the offer was too low for Barca.

MLS teams do have sponsors on the jerseys, but not on the front. The sponsors are usually on the back under the number or on the sleeve or on the shorts. American sports love to have team nicknames that are displayed on the front of the jersey. A crest isn't good enough.

Oh. Those sports have rules against that. They don't want to break tradition.

Would be nice to see an actual Italian sponser at some point, but I do understand with a high profile team like Milan you go with the $$$$$$$.
