With NYCFC appointing a Norwegian coach in Ronny Delia, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mix back in New York.

I always felt like he got a raw spin in NY with their DP crew during his time.

He is more than good enough for MLS.

How was it raw for him? He didn't produce. The fans were extremely disappointed by his play. Maybe if he gets a second chance he'll do better, but the first go round was no bueno.

But would returning to MLS be the best thing for Mix? If not for the Man City / NYCFC relationship, I'd argue that if he wants to return to MLS, NYCFC would possibly be the worst choice of place to go. Get a fresh start elsewhere with a fan base who didn't already turn on you once.

I think Mix can contribute in MLS in the right system as a frequently used squad player, which means the salary should be under TAM Level.

Mix would do great at an expansion team where he could be the "guy" - Nashville, FC Cincinnati, or Miami.

I don't think Mix and Parks are a good combination in central midfield. I'm not putting Mix down as a player, just saying that NYCFC isn't the right place for him.

As a DC fan, I think he could help our squad...except that he's exactly the type of player that Olsen wastes. Again, not putting Mix down as a player, here I'm criticizing Olsen.

His game always reminded me somewhat of Sacha Kljestan; maybe he could find a home with NYRB?

Mix is most fun for me when he can play that deepish-lying, late run into the box, maestro kind of thing. Not sure exactly what teams needs/could use that skill set (the little bit of Cinncinati I saw suggest they could just use some skills, out of any set) but whoever could, that's where it would be fun to see him.

Where is Mix? Loan is over, and clearly not playing for Man City. Surprised he hasn't been loaned out again yet, including to MLS. Might be stuck not playing for awhile now, at least until summer.

He can only go somewhere where the transfer window is open. That limits his options.

Transfer window is still open in Sweden, Norway, US, and Japan. Not sure about K-League.

In MLS, I’d say he could be best used at Nashville SC, Sporting Kansas City, Minnesota United, New York Red Bulls, Houston Dynamo, Orlando City, and Real Salt Lake. Not including the Canadian teams... which Montreal and Vancouver could desperately use him.

We have so little experience in the current squad. I think Mix would be an awesome addition to our midfield. A little bit of guile and poise while we groom Ledezma/Mendez.

Back in October yes. Now he must be very rusty. He needs to find a place to play, and quick before the Football Manager database tags him as "retired."
