I was pretty happy when we resigned Magee, but had pretty low expectations. I figured he was here to make up the numbers. He’s already scored more goals than I thought he would.
And he's a genius at looking like he's running off the field when being subbed, but still using up a minute of time while doing it....
What a strange age we live in. Who could have possibly imagined 3 years ago that in 2016 there would be a game where LA's two goals were netted by Mike Magee and Robbie Rogers?
In 4 years and 66 appearances for the Galaxy, Robbie Rogers now has as many goals as Mike Magee had in his first game back. Magee is such a cool bro he was hanging back a bit to let Robbie catch up. #mikemageefacts
On this day in history, a legend was born.... On this day in 2011, @magee18 became a goalkeeping icon in a 0-0 draw at San Jose Earthquakes. Starting keeper Ricketts left the match due to an injury and backup Saunders received a straight red card. Magee stepped up and made 4 saves to earn the shutout #LAGalaxy pic.twitter.com/T7aj7VR1fg— Galaxy History (@GalaxyHistory) June 25, 2020
