This might be a clue, but more than likely is not, but for the sake of being a nerd, I thought I'd make this point: emeraldcity.com - no longer functions as a web site and no longer responds to ping. The URL has owners unrelated to our soccer team, but also advertises that the URL expires in March 2008, with no active renewal of the current owner apparently pending. It might not mean a damn thing, or it might mean the owner of the URL has agreed to sell the URL to our owners and is waiting until the current term expires to transfer the URL to avoid notifying WHOIS - of the new owners. Probably, not important - at all, but I thought I'd mention it.
