It says that after the CL Arsenal vs. Ajax match, Mido said some stuff that i guess Koeman didn't like. It appears his career at Amsterdam is over. Lazio is very keen on signing him at the end of the season, so it may not be so bad for him. I think Koeman was a little too harsh for doing this, I mean they do not have many forwards left right now, they cant afford losing Mido, who always seems to score when they need him to. Sad but true, Mido will have to show off his skills with another uni.

Hij is het shirt niet waard.

(He's not worthy of the shirt.)

first of all, this whole thing sucks - he IS a kid and we dont know whats really goin' on so i wont agree with ajaxusa yet, BUT if he cant play for koeman then maybe he should move on - i hope this is just another classic europress overextension - i like having mido in the team as a player, but of course if he doesnt want to be at the ArenA: good luck man!

the eventual greater problem is frontline depth - i just KNEW that offloading several good attackers might come back to bite us - id certainly love to have knopper, machlas or bobson around right now (not to mention van der gun or ikedia) - i know weve signed good defenders like ponce and lindgren, but are there any striker rumblings? anybody have any reasonable ideas on players we could target? any clubs in dire financial straits we can plunder at a good price? if AJAX need anyhting sorely, its a pair of forwards - off the top of my head, all i can envision this leading to is a higher offer for dirk kuyt, which would be fine with me

The problem is that after the Arsenal match Mido said to the media that he hadn't apoligized to the coach or the club for his actions, because he only apoligizes when he does something wrong.

This of course didn't sit well with the club.

Even if they did buy a player now, like with Feyenoord and Kuyt, that player can only join the team after this season has ended according to international rules.

I don't really see much of a problem, van der Vaart will be back soon, who can partner up front with Zlatan if they play 4-4-2...like Wamberto, Sikora and van der Meyde can as well if need be.

A similar situation formed around Feyenoord and van Persie… which solved it self.
But then again van Persie and Mido are two completely different cases, look at their cars; Van Persie drivers an Opel, Mido a Ferrari.

If Mido feels he's treated like a kid, he's right. Cos he IS a kid. A very spoiled kid who lacks the brain to shut his mouth. he didn't do anything that bad, but it's so incredibly dumb... you might even start to think he's doing it on purpose.

Then there's also the rumour that he's put his house up for sale... all in all I think he sees it as a nice chance to move to another club.

Any 19 year old who comes to Ajax thinking he's the big made man who can do as he pleases should go.

Bye Mido. Can't say I'll miss you.

For those that don't get Dutch tv: Mido threw a pair of scissors at Zlatan once, only barely missing him.....now that's just plain not nice :D

    u shouldnt be believing rumors
hes still young, people grow. imagine being dumped on by millions and millions of dollars at the age of 18, what would u do, ud probably go insane too. most 18 yr olds in egypt barely are in college and living off bread, so you should see where he comes from first before just go around and say sht like that

Yeees I was hoping they would get him. He's a great player with alot of potential. Ajax can use a fast striker like him.

Haven't heard anything about Denneboom, after Hogendorp wasn't able to come, Ajax said they wouldn't try to get anybody else. Wouldn't make much sense either seeing as they wouldn't be able to play him in the CL.

You think they're still going to win the Championship? :D Ajax have to play an extra match every week because of the CL, PSV only have to worry about the games in the weekend, and Feyenoord is pretty much out of contention.

I imagine the reason why they solely went after Hoogendorp is because they would still be able to play him in the CL, there's not really a point in getting Denneboom (who isn't that great to begin with, maybe in time) only for the Amstel Cup.

Hey, I could be wrong and Ajax win the championship at the end of the season, but I highly doubt it....plus it seems the worst of the big three winning the championship is becoming an annual thing (last year Ajax, this year PSV)
