He told the local A'dam newsstation AT5. He told them before he told the trainer or anyone at the club. He feels that he needs more 'security'. After he was replaced in the first half against FC Groningen and not being in the starting 11 against FC Zwolle are the apparent reasons for him to leave.

He did mention something about the club... he loves the club and the supporters but the club should show more patience because he is only 19. Now he wants to go to England or Italy.

MHO: ************ off and don't come back. This guy drives a ferrari, is 19 and can't deal with the fact that he won't play if his play is weak. As far as I'm concerned Koeman doesn't play him at all the rest of this season. Ajax is trying to build up... we can't use people like this. Bye Mido!

Too bad though, cause he's a very sharp striker.

Boy, what a nut case! He was injured a lot last year. But he can put the ball in the net.

He won't be playing tuesday even though he apoligized, which means that Zlatan will be playing for him :( which means if yesterday's match was any indication (or every game he's played for Ajax even) that other players will have to score if Ajax wants to win because this guy has more problems scoring than Tomasson did :(

Well I can tell you all that mr Hossam (Mido) is fully aware of the supporters' opinions. He was sitting on a stand very close to f-side so he could hear and see just about anything :)

    Time will tell what happens.

I'm confused. Why would he believe that he'll get more action in England or Italy? Does he want to move to a 2nd division team? He's looked very good on the rare occassion that I've seen him but everyone has earn their spot, especially at his age.

Mido has apologized and he has been fined. He will not be playing against Lyon.

Mido already was an ********************* when he was playing for Gent, he claimed a place in the first team right after arriving, being 17 at the time and not having proven anything yet in Europe. Then he decided not to go to Anderlecht because 'the coach couldn't promise him a place in the starting 11 every week'
