While Maryland fans are giddy, Kentucky had fun with its 100th birthday party, but this was the most interesting one to me:

I was at Late Night with Roy Williams as I am every year. Pretty boring, just a lot of players making fun of Mizzou and K-state and those players doing dance routines and stuff. I don't think I'm going to goto the pre-mignight activities from now on, the scrimmage/practice is pretty much all I really want to see. Well that, and the players always making Roy come out and dance with them with his goofy white boy dance syndrom. Hinrich and Collison both have that as well, suprise suprise, they're both from Iowa. :D

I was at Midnight Madness for the defending NCAA Champion Maryland Terrapins..

Good stuff as they opened the brand new Comcast Center in style with a wicked bad laser light show and a 15 minute "scrimmage"..

The new place is state of the art and now the top facility in the country..

How's the student wall in person? I read an article the other day that it was over a 60 degree angle, Good god!

Just look at the right side! It almost looks like the people's people heads on the row beneath you will be at your knees! Hah, kinda scary. Almost looks steeper towards the top.

Also, are the student seats around the court also?

Yeah, we tend to blame Gooden for that one. Maybe had he decided to show up for the game we might of had a chance. And I wouldn't really call it beating the s**t out of us. It was what... an 8 or 9 point victory? The terps dominated us, but didn't beat the s**t out of us. You can say Dixon beat the s**t out of us, but the Terps definately didn't.

I don't remember seriously saying the Terps suck last Final Four either. That was a great starting 5, probably better than our 5 last year, but our 7 was the strongest in the country.

Funny how Fuss-Cheatham (must run the point) and Sylvester (about a month away from working out) came to my restaurant last week. It was the day when (at midnight) practice would start. They told me that the Buckeyes didn't have one this year.

They didn't seem to happy to start practice. Maybe getting into the flow of things and working off the rust is something that not only we fans have to deal with. I predict the football bucks lose to Wisconsin and basketball can't start soon enough. I hope not, but you heard it here first.

I remember when Gary Williams was in Columbus we had one. It was an experience to remember just to see Jay Burson try to dunk in the pregame warmups. Dude had to grab the net and climb to the rim.

I think this has to be my favorite time of the year: NFL in full swing, European and domestic soccer going, baseball playoffs, college football and most importantly the start of college basketball practice.

The madness is stop getting electrical impulses, which players' concentration interrupts with interaction. Yes, Tubby Smith has malfunctions upon recruitment. However the 2000 win milestone is way less then decade, The college scene sways bearings on University of Kentucky. I see recuiting gaps. I see no incoming class ranked respectively. I see a lengthen record of 20-10. I see minor upsets. I saw three consecutive 10 loss seasons. The first kind in history of Wildcats. I see valnerably head coacher job .
