1. I read $8.5 billion. Either way, it's a lot of money for a money losing product. Isn't it cheaper to develop your own money-losing VOIP technology? 2. Wasn't there some talk about how Skype didn't own the crucial technology back when eBay bought it. Did they sort that out? 3. There was a period when the UI on the OS X version was superior to the Windows version. They they uglied up the OS X version to match the Windows version. I'm all for consistency and all, but not when things uniformly suck.
