That was reported in the gay news a few days ago - needless to say she made a lot of anti-gay comments as well.

Dear lord. She probably lives in someplace like Commerce Township or Wixom. Which means far. And heavily conservative. Nor will she come to Royal Oak or Ferndale because it's too woke unless it's Dream Cruise week*. Not to mention that she probably says things about Detroit in the kind of tones that just scream hate.

Anyway, she's an old guard of old school Oakland County racism. The kind you'd hear L. Brooks Patterson saying after he had one too many drinks in Rochester.

*: Dream Cruise is a massive traffic jam running up and down Woodward where people drive old cars, sports cars, and customized cars. In short, it's an old car celebration. It's also at certain points, a bastion of MAGA love. I usually hunker down or get somewhere but the last 5 years it's been hunker down. Think I might go out of town next year the week of the Dream Cruise. It's not fun when you're 30 seconds from Woodward. All that noise and you can't get anywhere.

It somehow seems appropriate that the MAGA racists can be neutralized with the pepper spray that mail carriers carry to protect themselves from violent dogs.

 

That's a damn shame. In addition to giving them the cross and the flag, we gave conservatives guns and gridiron and regular food and television shows... basically all the fun stuff.

 

Given conservative attitudes about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, I get the feeling gridiron isn’t something they care for.

As for the car thing, it’s small but unfortunately I saw a lot of MAGA stuff this year. Not as bad as the 2020 one where they literally held a MAGA Cruise and it wasn’t significant.
