Mentioned in the summer transfers thread, but never got his own thread:

VB has made a contract with goalkeeper Michael Lansing for the coming season. The 22-year-old American comes to Nørreskoven from Bucknell University in their home country and is not a blank page in Nørreskoven where he first was on a visit three years ago.

    - Michael Lansing is a good and athletic goalkeeper, which we are happy to add our goalkeeping team. It has been several years since we first have him at the club and since the switch is maintained. He has over the last few weeks convinced our coach team in combat and for training, and we are sure that he eventually becomes an even better goalkeeper, says Steen Thychosen.

    - "Mike" comes to Vejle Boldklub in a more professional environment than he has previously been in, and that he will quickly develop. An American who comes to Europe for the first time, will give its half arm to prove and I am delighted to follow Michael Lansing in the coming period, says Steen Thychosen.

Michael Lansing was born June 13, 1994 in Randolph, NJ. He was in Vejle Boldklub first time in March 2013 when he trained with the senior squad and U-19 team.

    His Bucknell bio: http://www.bucknellbison.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=32100&ATCLID=209044555

Vejle Boldklub is in the Danish 1st Division, which is the 2nd level.

Surprised to see this guy still playing. I had written him off after his poor numbers in the 2001 season.

Lansing was in goal today as AC Horsens started the season off with a 3-0 home loss against Nordsjaelland.

Last year with AaB Aalborg, he made two starts in the Danish Cup and was on the bench in league as the backup keeper 32 times.

And before any freaks (not that this thread gets a ton of traffic anyway), this is a cup match. Lansing has started all 8 of their league matches so far this season. Their starter from last season (Delac, getting the start today) has been firmly planted on the bench.

Started his 11th consecutive league match and picked up a yellow card in a 1-1 draw v. Esbjerg. Horsens sit in 12th place (of 14) with 11 points from their first 11 matches.
