    I'm not quite sure what happened here, but it sounds like 2 clubs traded the rights to players who were playing there on loan:

    I mean…. I clearly don’t have any pull but I’d like to informally offer him a contract for my Rapids. Jonathan Lewis is on the trade block - or at least it seems that way as he made no preseason appearances and was not on the bench on opening weekend - so we could use a winger than is actually a decent finisher. Have Michael call my people. We’ll get it worked out. :D

    Meanwhile in Ecuador, Michael Hoyos has four goals in the first five games of the Ecuadorian season for Independiente de Valle. Last night he scored in a 1-1 draw vs. Aucas.

    IDV has 11 points from the five games to sit in first.

    Hoyos is tied atop the scoring table in the early going.
