It's been over a year since the plug was pulled on our sides. I'm just wondering what kind of observer of MLS are you now, if at all.

Personally, I don't have a favorite club in the way that the Fusion were. But, after saying I'd never watch MLS again, I came back on Opening Day, simply because a functioning league here is vital to the development of the National Side. I guess I follow two teams right now, Colorado and Columbus. Colorado because my fav Fusion player, Pablo is there, and also I became a big Chris Henderson fan in his short stay at Lockhart. Columbus...I think I like the fans, and the city (for being a strong soccer town) just as much as the team, but I'm a McBride fan, so I follow them too.

Yeah, not the most original thread, but some action on this forum isn't such a bad thing, now is it?? :)

I was thinking about this the other day. I still follow Soccer and the MLS but I don't think I have a favorite team. I still wear my Mutiny jersey around but the other day when I thought about buying something from another team nothing really interests me. I have always liked the DC United Logo and I also like the Chicago Fire top but not enough to spend that much money to buy a jersey. It's not like I have a team to follow live anymore.
I'm European but I would rather have MLS stuff because this is where I live and this is our league.I hope the league survives.

Personally, I kinda lost interest in MLS, w/o
the Fusion. Yes, they are a few players, here and
there...but not enough to keep interest, with 10
teams, "parity" and 1 team "Donovan Jose" beeing "special" to the league...lost me.

I am "old school" eurolatinloyalist.... I stick and
support my local team. the rest is just like watching tennis...

I'D like to see them succeed, we have a lot of talent
sprouting...they need agood league to look up to,
and that will give us also a better Nat team.
the 10 team concept, will not keep us in the top
10 teams in the world standings, the league needs
more teams, and we where a fair market, with lots
    of missed opportunities

If a team comes back to sFlorida, just like before
I will be a multiple season ticked holder...
till then...they can go to heck, but I trully dont
want or MEAN any ill fate to the concept of having
a great pro league in US, BUT with 14 teams and
    a team here.

Frigg !! our fan club crashed, we working to bring it
    back.

    Poll needs a 4th choice

I watch, but, it isn't 'appointment' viewing. If and when I remember, and there isn't anything else better on at the moment... then I watch.

If there is a WUSA game up against a MLS game, I watch the WUSA game. Girl soccer player legs are so sexy. ;-)

    Cheers....

I have to say that it would be hard to adopt another team. If you have ties to another region then it is easier to have an interest in said team (Rapids).

That said, I still follow soccer and MLS but I don't have a favorite team. It hasn't become required TV watching anymore.
