Miami nor Sacramento are dependent on franchises or big actors. All these investors are just hitching on the bandwagon. 49ers involvement has made no difference to Sacramento's bid. The tipping point was reached months ago.
Looks like Minnesota, is jumping us, we are now lookin at being No. 24, geez louise, somethimg has to be annuonced, atleast that becks picked a booger out his nose, its beem too damn long with no word on anything
Go to the Sac forums and you will see a tweet from a reliable source that Sac has been told they will be 24. Would it really be a surprise at this point?
So Miami is #25 or whatever. So what. This artificial ceiling of 24 and its relevance to any time table is now just comical.
Well my wishfull thinking had us in before 24, and in order to be a realistic league in the world, 24 teams should b the max. How the hell you going to have thirty teams in a league, thats outrageous. Unless they literally split the league in two and have one full league in the east and one full league in the west? But knowing Garber he wants to make this an NFL copy cat league, divisions and east and west conf champion, etc. Etc.
I'll just place this here: Being told that NASL will have a team in Miami by 2016. That team would be moving up from NPSL.— Juan Arango (@JuanG_Arango) April 2, 2015 NASL may be expanding to Miami for the 2016 season.
Yeah they've talking been Nasl Miami expansion since last summer. Knowing it's the Miami United guys is new. http://www.empireofsoccer.com/expansion-target-hartford-27323/ Or it's these guys, logo looks familiar: http://www.npsl.info/home/869918.html
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/soccersupportersradionetwork/2015/04/28/ultras-alive-169 Great show, give it a listen, talks about the Miami MLS and the Miami FC team news since the big announcement on Wednesday (Miami FC - NASL) and Friday meeting (Miami MLS). Show is on every Monday @ 9pm with Hosts Uncle Ed and Pieter Brown.
These are pretty awesome, for the time being, too: http://miamiunitedsoccer.com/2015-jerseys/ Time to go GaGa...
Only way I see Miami Fusion or Miami Gaga FC, get in, is if Becks buys one of them. And How would either one of those teams get a stadium deal if Becks cant?
